Up to 14 people could be comfortably seated at this magnificent piece of craftsman made furniture. You are reminded that some of our images show chairs for illustration purposes but these are not included with the table but may be purchased seperately if required.
This bespoke dining table is made from top quality burr walnut which is, of course, famous for its beautiful grain. That grain has been further embellished with lots of superb inlaid marquetry decoration, including ribbons, urns, flowers and vases.
The extension of the table is achieved by way of three leaves , each measuring some sixty cms, which can added or removed as required to suit the occasion. There is an easy to use winding mechanism to facilitite this task. The table is capably supported by four elegantly carved legs, each terminating with brass cap castors.
The table top with its exquisite hand cut inlaid decorations, has been French polished by hand to further emphasis the beautiful burr walnut grain and the intricacy of the marquetry.
The dimension of this table are as follows:
Height 80cm x Width 360cm x Depth 130cm – when fully extended and Height 80cm x Width 180cm x Depth 130cm – when it is fully closed. There are three extension leaves supplied, each being 60cm in width. If you prefer the dimensions in inches, that would be as follows:
Height 2 feet, 7 inches x Width 11 feet, 10 inches x Depth 4 feet, 3 inches – when the table is fully extended, with all leaves fitted and Height 2 feet, 7 inches x Width 5 feet, 11 inches x Depth 4 feet, 3 inches – when the leaves are removed and the table is fully closed.
